UK Holiday Fashion Series 4- Missguided Lace!

Hi Guys,

This is the last in my UK Holiday fashion series, and today's look is my gorgeous white lace smock dress from Missguided, that I love!
Dress-Missguided
HandbG-H&M, Sandals- Newlook

I had been eyeing this little number for a while, I was thinking do I really need another white dress (I have about 5 already) but I just got not deny myself anymore and I was so pleased when it arrived.
It is the prefect balance between day and night and casual and dressy, styled right this could be worn on a big glam night out with killer heels and clutch, or much more day time like I have here.
It was a great holiday piece, as I wore it during the day and then I could go straight to dinner which was perfect.
You will know I am a big fan of Missguided and there dresses especially are always winners, I love how this dress falls and the quality is excellent, if you have not tried them out your need to *this is not a sponsored post

I wanted to make my look a bit more edgy and so put my leather jacket with it, which I think worked well, what do you think? Do you love Missuided too?

Well, I am officially back from my holiday's now and an suffering serious post holiday blues. It was such a lovely chilled out week, which I was so ready for and now it is over it feels like it flew by! So back to work it is and I have got lots of exciting things going on so it will keep me busy, I hope you like the look and have enjoyed my holiday look book!

Happy Tuesday!

UK Holiday Fashion Series 3- Digital Florals!

Hi Guys,

This is the 3rd instalment in my UK Holiday Fashion series, Today's look has been a favourite of mine over the course of the Summer, and so I packed it with the hope of getting some nice weather when I was here in Norfolk and today was glorious, so out it came!

Skirt- Topshop, Vest- Newlook
Necklace- Primark, Handbag- H&M

I love the digital flower print, it is not something I have seen before and was just a bit less quaint than a normal flower print. What this skirt has been really good for is crop tops, I have loved wearing them with this, as the waist is nice and high. However today I teamed it with my silky black vest in an attempt to catch some sun!
I have 3 versions of this vest, in black, white and turquoise from New Look and they are fab, to wear with jeans, trousers, skirts the lot and I know I will be able to wear them under cardigans and shirts when the weather gets colder. (So they were a good thing to pack for a UK holiday)

The weather has been beautiful today, so we went out for a drive to Holkham beach and went for a long walk, it was so nice to get some fresh sea air- I know, I sound like a grandma when I say that, but it was!
We have been having a great holiday so far, we went Wedding dress shopping on Wednesday in Norwich for my Sister and that was an experience! You would think as me, my Mum and Katie being great lovers of all things fashion would have loved every minute, but it was actually quite draining, the dresses were stunning, but there just feels like too much pressure to choose the right one, and as someone who always over thinks and plans outfits it was all a bit too much for me. But Katie looked amazing and we have made some big steps in the right direction!

Well, I hope you like the look and are happy it is Friday! We are heading out for dinner and drinks tonight and I need to get ready, have a great weekend.

UK Holiday Fashion Series 2- Plaid Party!

Hi Guys,

Today's holiday look was inspired by wearing tomorrow's style today, as we are coming to the end of the Summer and starting to look at next seasons trends, I wanted to wear a dress that was bought for the Autumn that I was able to style up today!

Dress- Glamorous, Necklace-Miss Selfidge
Bag-H&M, Sandals- Primark

Plaid, Tartan, check are all going to be the prints of the Autumn Winter season and I saw bought this Glamorous beauty a few weeks ago withe plan of teaming it with cut out boots, chunky cardys and a winter coat but I could not resist bringing it with me on holiday, as you never now what the weather will through at you!
It was gorgeous and sunny here today in Norfolk, so I decided to wear it as a mini dress with sandals and a little strap bag. and I was really pleased with the overall look.
The dress is such a great print and is perfect for the seasons cross over as it is still summery styled like this, but will be a staple when the cold weather hits. I love the colours of the check, and my favourite bit about the dress is the cut, falling out under the bust, which is one of the best shapes for my pear shape figure.
This dress sums up UK Holiday style, as it can be worn come rain or shine and that is what you need!

We spent the day in Burham Market a beautiful little North Norfolk town with the most amazing hat shop, that was perfect for shopping for Mum's Hat/Fascinator for my Sisters Wedding. And we got a gorgeous one, which was very exciting!
I do love this part of the world, the villages, the beaches, the gorgeous cottages and vintage shops it is soo lovely, and we are heading to Norwich tomorrow to go brides dress shopping for Katie, which Mum and I am soo excited about, so I will be sure to keep you posted on our progress!
I hope you like the look and are having a good week.

Happy Tuesday!

UK Holiday Series 1- Mellow, yellow and more Marl!

Hi Guys,

This is the first post in my UK Holiday Fashion series, as so many blogs (including myself) dedicate time to summer holiday outfits and styles, that are for the beach or abroad destinations, so I decided as I am on holiday this week in North Norfolk with my Family it would be the perfect opportunity to make a dairy of my UK holiday style!

Top- Primark, Skirt- Pop up Shop in Manchester
Handbag- H&M, Sandals- Newlook
Necklace-Primark

(The Logan Sister's moooching about, holiday style!)
 Katie's Look- Top- Topshop, Skirt-Primark
Necklace- Newlook

It is really hard to pack for a holiday in the UK, you literally need to pack for every type of weather, so bikini's, jumpers, boots and sandals were all thrown in in the hope I could put something together when I got here!
As you can see from my last outfit post I am currently a big fan of grey marl, it is such a easy and stylish update on a black stable t shirt, and there are so many versions on the high street from Primark, H&M, Cos and Zara so you can get involved whatever your budget. It is becoming my go to fashion item at the minute and I perfect for the UK weather at the mo, one minute sunny, next minute rain.
So I decided to team it with my favourite yellow a line skirt, I really liked the 2 colours together, and again a skirt this length is great for this time of summer as it is happy medium between a short mini and covering up completely in trousers/jeans.
Katie went for a really similar look too, with her gorgeous bold coloured plet skirt and classic grey T from Topshop.

I was really comfortable in this look and it was great for our day of wondering the gorgeous vintage and unique shops in Holt the town we are staying in. It is so nice just to chill out this week, I will not lie work has been so manic recently I have felt a bit swamped, so this holiday was much needed!
I hope you are all having a lovely week and I hope you like my look, I am off to have a BBQ and some cocktails, heading down the coast tomorrow to Burnham Market,so more pics coming your way!

Happy Monday!

Marl and neon

Hi Guys,

Today's look is my new Grey Marl dress from Glamorous, which I have been loving in this mixed weather recently, as it looks great styled with sandals and on it's own like this, but just as good with a chunky cardy and cut out boots!
Dress- Glamorous, Necklace- Marisota
Sandals- Primark, Handbag- H&M
Ring- H&M, Nails- Essie Too too Hot

I really like the colour of the marl it is not quite black and not quite grey, but it is a great canvas for all my different necklaces and scarfs. It is good to just have a staple plain colour dress in your collection, they are soo handy!
The skater shape is one I don't always go for as I feel it can add size to my hips, but with this dress I really like the shape, it is quite a heavy material, so it hangs well and is really comfy which is another plus. I have quite a few Glamorous dresses and they all fit well, but you do sometimes have to go up a size to get the right fit.
Overall I was really pleased with this look and loved the pop of yellow neon with the dress! What do you think?

Well, I can't believe it is Wednesday tomorrow, where are the weeks going? I have been caught up all weekend in Bridesmaid duty, styling up myself and 6 other lovely ladies for my Sisters wedding next May. We had the best afternoon shopping and rather shockingly got all 7 girls dresses in the first shop, it was a fashion miracle, I loved it!
I hope you are all having a good week and like my look, I am off on holiday on Friday, so only 3 days to go!!

Happy Tuesday!

A Grey day at the Races!

Hi Guys,

Well, it feels soo nice to be blogging again! I must firstly apologise for my absence in the past week, I have literally had one of the busiest weeks at work ever and was away at the weekend so I just have not had time to get on here! #badblogger

Anyway, Today's look is from my trip to the Races on Sunday, it was a really grey rubbish day weather wise, but I still went for a summery look!

Dress- Fashion Union, Fasinator- Fashion World
Clutch- Miss Selfridge, Shoes- Newlook
Bracelets/Bangles- Forever 21

This dress is a an oldie from the back of the cupboard, but it is great to pull out for an occasion because of the lace and pearl details around the collar. And to be honest I went out to buy a new dress and all I saw was a sea of white and lace skater dresses in Topshop, River Island, Newlook, Missguided, so I decided that I was not going to spend money on virtually the same dress as I already had (yes, I showed restrain)and turned to this Fashion Union beaut.
I love the jacquard print also, it just gives the look a bit of an edge, compared to some of the jersey fabrics I have seen and you know how much I love the colour white. I know the races are an opportunity to go wild with colour and print, but I just wanted to keep it simple.

And you can't go to the Races without a hat or a fastinator, and this gorgeous number worked perfectly with the dress, and I do love a hair piece- the bigger the better. I liked the fact that it was all the same colour, what do you think, what have you been wearing to Weddings/Races/Occasions this summer?

I hope you are all having a good week and adjusting to the thundery/ rainy weather? Wardrobe confusion again! Never mind, it means we can start thinking about our new season purchases!

Happy Monday!
