Monochrome Prints

Hi Guys,

Today's outfit is one of my recent go to work outfits, my love for print trousers is still in full flow at the moment and I find that there are lots of different ways to style them, that make perfect office attire!

Jacket-Next, Trousers-Primark, Peplum Top- Fashion Union
Necklace-Topshop, Bag-Primark, Shoes- Select
Ring- H&M, Bracelets-Topshop, Nails- OPI- Vant to Bite my Neck

Red and monochrome is always a good combination, but I like the fact that I could keep the jacket on all day with the trousers, which was a bit smarter for when I was in and out of meetings.
I have just got them on with my black fat spiked ballet shoes, but they do look just as good with heels too if you are needing to go a bit dressier. Do you like the look? And do you have some work wardrobe favourites?

These printed lovelies are Primark and they are a welcome addition to my monochrome collection, I just can't seem to stop buying black and white items! So I have had a word with myself and am going to try and mix it up a bit with more pastels and colour and so have been doing a lot of online shopping recently and I must say there are some great spring summer pieces out there. If you are in the search for some new threads, I have been loving, Missguided, Monki and  Fashion Union

Well, I hope you are all having a pleasant week? Things are very busy as always with work and I am working on some things for Manchester Fashion Week too, but I am going to the Get Label Blog party on Thursday night which should be really fun, it has a hip hop theme, so need to start outfit planning now!

Happy Tuesday!

Classics

Hi Guys,

Happy Weekend! Just a quick post today as I have a busy weekend, and am currently already late! Today's look is a new favourite of mine, as it is quite classic and timeless, but with a pop of colour.
Jacket- Select, Shirt-Vintage, Wetlook Legging-Boohoo
Bag- Marisota, Shoes- Primark, Necklace-Newlook
Sunglasses-ASOS, Nails- Essie Butler Please

My white cropped jacket, is a spring/ summer wardrobe staple, especially as we move towards the warmer months (we hope) it's look and feel is very chic and that's way I decided to team it with another classic piece, a denim shirt. I love the stark blue against the pale denim, I feel like I should be walking down the Seine in Paris today, but hey you can't have it all.
To finish off the look I brought in some colour, with my bright orange shopper, I just can't help myself when I see the sun is shining!

Well, I hope you have fun weekends planned? I am heading down to Birmingham this afternoon to head out for a big birthday bash with one of my best friends so I am super excited about that, and no don't we will get ourselves in mischief! But I still need to pick my outfit and tan, do my hair etc, so really need to run.
Hope you like my look and you enjoy the sun!

Happy Saturday!

A little bit of everything!

Hi Guys,
Today's outfit is a little bit of everything all rolled into one, (which made me think of that Meredith Brooks song Bitch lol!) meaning that it is a few different trends together, as I could just decide on what to wear!

White Jacket- Sample Sale, Stripe Top- Vintage
Trousers- Primark, Necklace- Topshop, Beanie- H&M
Shoes- Primark, Bag-Newlook
Nails- OPI Suzi's Hungary Again

Stripes are not a trend to me they are a constant, a wardrobe none mover if you will, so I always like to give them any airing any season. And I wanted to team them with my beloved black slouchy trouser for a bit of a sports luxe feel, but then decided to bring in some white (my favourite trend this season) with my loose white blazer. But, I then thought this now needs a bit of neon and so opted for my neon pink beanie, my triple neon thread necklace and bright nails! There was a bit of a clash of styles, But I was actually really pleased with the result- do you?

Sometimes you just have to throw the fashion rule book out the window- don't you think?

Well, I hope you like the look and I hope you are all having  good week? I have been crazy busy, but I am loving my new job. I have been in fittings this week helping style up the models for an up and coming shoot, and tomorrow I am heading down to London for a PR event, so all go. I am hoping to also fit in a quick dash down Oxford Street, so I will keep you posted on any purchases!

Happy Wednesday!

Check me Out!

Jacket-Miss Rebel, Monochrome Top- Missguided, Trousers- H&M
Necklace- Newlook, Bag- Marisota, Boots- Newlook
Bracelets- Accessorize, Earrings-Primark
Nails- Essie Master Plan

Hi Guys,

As you can see my love for prints and pops of colour continued today, I am really in a "monochrome" phase in the moment and I think this checked Missguided top is one of my favourite items. It looks great with skirts, jeans, disco pants and especially coloured trousers and jeans. And I love how it reminds me of Louis Vuitton 1960's inspired prints and colours!

These blue trousers are oldies from last summer, but they are still part of my current wardrobe rotation as I love them so much. I am quite loyal with some pieces of clothing, I will wear them for years, and then others I will really like and wear all the time and then after a few months put to the back of the cupboard. Do you do that? Have long term clothes favourites?

I can't believe it is Sunday night, where has this weekend gone? They just go too quickly, but ironically the weather since Friday night has been lovely and sunny but as soon as I got the camera out the rain came! So typical, but never mind I have also recorded a new video this weekend on my Spring Summer fashion picks, which will be up on my You Tube channel in the next few days, so I hope you can check it out.
Well, I hope you have all had lovely time and I hope you like today's look!

Happy Sunday!

Casual Friday!

Hi Guys,

Today's outfit, my casual Friday look for work, it is always nice to have one day of the working week that I can be completely comfortable and not have to be too smart.
I have been loving wearing my old leather sleeved mac recently, so decided to go for a bit of a green theme in the end with my neon green H&M jumper.

Leather Sleeved Mac- Huk (A Manchester based retailer) Jumper- H&M, Scarf- Primark
Wet Look Leggings- Boohoo, White Shirt- HM, Bag- Marisota
Shoes- Primark, Necklace- Newlook, Bracelet- Topshop
Nails- Essie Master Plan

I really like adding a pop of print to an outfit, and for this look one was just not enough so I added two! The printed scarf and shoes are both Primark goodies that will be such good pieces to mix in and out of outfits over the next couple of months. And to be honest I liked the black and white against the the green too.
What do you think of the look? Do you like adding print to outfits?

Another rediscovery in the depths of my wardrobe has been my Boohoo wet look leggings. For those of you old skool readers you will know that I spent the most part of 2012 in these bottoms, but recently I have been favouring my Missguided and American Apparel disco pants. However I spotted these in one of my wardrobe raids the other day and I am developing a new found love for them, they are so comfy and they really hold there shape.

But enough of the leggings love, I hope you all have lovely weekend planned? I am heading out for a few drinks tonight to chill out after a very long (but very new and exciting) week, and then road testing my new camera over the course of Saturday and Sunday. I am hoping to record my Spring/Summer fashion essential video, so be sure to check it out.

Happy Friday!

Cropping it up!

Hi Guys,

This post, is photo's of my look from Saturday night, to be honest I never really do outfit posts of my "going out" looks, as normally I am running around at the last minute getting ready or I am with my friends and we are all drinking and gossipping so getting pics is out of the question! But this weekend I was out for a meal with my wonderful Parents and then a few drinks afterwards, so I thought I would show you my new favourite pencil skirt!
Jacket- Miss Rebel, Crop Top- Topshop, Skirt- Topshop
Clucth- Miss Selfridge, Earrings- Newlook, Heels- Newlook
Faux Fur- H&M, Nails- OPI Can't find my Czech Book

I don't normally get out my mid drift, but I just literally adore this lace crop top, it reminds me of a black and white version of the SS13 Erdem lace. I like it as a crop top because it has a lot of swing to it, it is not skin tight, which I think with the tight pencil skirt would have been too much. (Well, for my stomach at the mo!)

The skirt is going to be an absolute staple all summer long, so apologies if it appears on here a lot! I love the really bright vivid colour, and it is such a good quality piece, it really holds it's shape, especially at the bottom which is the first place to go baggy normally. I am so happy with it, are you loving pencil skirts too?

Well, I hope you are having a good week so far? Today the weather was glorious, and it was lovely and light  this evening till past 8 o'clock which was soo nice. You can tell I am now officially over with the cold weather. Been very busy the past 2 days in fittings for work for an up and coming shoot, so very tired tonight. Off now to get on the sofa with a cuppa. :-)

Happy Tuesday!

Pretty Little Thing's Blogger Party!

Hi Guys,

Today's post is my pics from the Pretty Little Thing's SS13 Collection- blogger party on Thursday. It was a fantastic event held at Rosso Restaurant in Manchester and was a great opportunity to have a sneak peak at the gorgeous new collection Spring/Summer pieces that I literally loved!

Plus it was soo lovely to see some of my favourite Northern Blogger ladies and have a touch too much fizz and sambuca!

Here are my pics:

What I loved so much about this collection was the perfect range of trends, there was amazing neons, (off which you now I am a fan) sport luxe pieces and then gorgeous laces and pastels, so there really was something for everyone.
I was going a bit nuts for the laser cut out neon clutches, they are soo bright and loud, they would perk up any outfit, to be honest all the accessories were really impressive and reasonably priced for such statement items.
I also had a lot of love for the neon tie dye dress, it would love fab with a tan in the summer months, or worn over leather trousers/wet look leggings now. But for me the real highlight was the quality of the clothing, so often, affordable fashion retailers are great for trends etc, but when you get the garment home it does not feel too great or durable. However, all the pieces were so a high quality of fabric and felt really lovely.

As well as all the fab clothes, us lucky ladies were also treated to a lot of fizz, wine, sambuca shots and a beautiful meal which was such a great chance to have a catch up with some lovely bloggers, which is one of my favourite parts of going to events.

It really was a great event and I stumbled ( a few drinks too many) home from it with this gorgeous Denim Dress which I will feature in  a outfit post really soon.

Well, I hope you are having a great weekend? I am going shopping this afternoon with my wonderfully stylish Mum, which I am really looking forward too and then heading out for dinner later, so all and all a lovely day!
Hope you like the collection too and check out Pretty Little Things for some fab fashion!

Happy Weekend!
