Vintage and Leather

Cardigan-Vintage, Boyfriend T Shirt- Primark, Skirt-H&M
Boots- Newlook, Bag- Primark, Necklace- H&M
Bracelet- Topshop, Nails- OPI Can't find my Czechbook and Polka.com

Hi Guys!

Happy Easter, I hope you have all had lovely long weekends?
Today was all about cooking the dinner and eating chocolate ( in particular my awesome Ferrero Rocher Egg), but we did nip out for a walk and an appetite building trip to the pub which was nice.
So I decided to to go for a bit of a mixed look teaming my favourite black leather skirt with this amazing vintage cardigan that I found at my Grandma's the last time I was there.
My Gran's wardrobe is like a treasure trove, there are so many fab pieces that have been hidden away for years, I am like a big kid when I am let loose in it.
When I saw this tribal/aztec cardigan I knew it would be perfect for the spring trends as it has little pops of bright orange and blue that will look great with jeans, skirts, disco pants, everything really.
I didn't want the look to be too formal so I popped on my bright boyfriend t shirt to pick out the colours of the knits. I was really happy with the overall effect, and I know I will be wearing this cardigan loads.

I hope you like the look? Do you have any vintage favourites?

Well, I can't believe the weekend is nearly over, they always go so quick don't they? But never mind, I got a really busy week ahead that I am really excited about, so it's not too bad. Plus I will be posting on my latest Manchester Fashion Week blogger box, which has got lots of lovely beauty goodies! So for now it's back to the chocolate...!

Happy Easter!

Neon Skulls- A Good Friday!

Jacket- Primark, Disco Pants- Missguided, Top- H&M
Scarf- Primark, Boots- Newlook, Bag- Primark, Hat-H&M
Bangles-Newlook, Sunglasses- ASOS, Ring- Accessorize *
Nails- OPI Suzi's Hungary Again

Hi Guys!

Just a quick post from my look today. As you will know if you follow me on Instagram (@logansrunway) that yesterday I went on a a bit of a Primark shopping haul.
So like the impatient child I am I was straight up this morning to try some of it on!

As I said in my last post I have come home for the weekend and it is soo lovely to be just chilling out with my family. Sometimes you just need to get out the city and do nothing, don't you think?

Today we just went for some coffee and had a mooch about town, so I decided to road test the amazing neon skull print neck scarf. The colours in it are perfect for spring and what I love about it is that I will be able to pick out loads of different coloured tops and trouser to go with it.
It also is a great match for my H&M beanie and OPI nails. Sometimes I like to be a bit matchy, I know it is not always the most "fashiony" thing to do, but I like it.
I can recommend getting yourselves down to Primark enough at the mo, there new season ranges are amazing, so get involved.

I hope you like the look and are all having  a great Good Friday? Only 2 days to go till we hit the eggs!!
I am heading off now to go to an Easter quiz with my family, which will no doubt be hilarious, will have more outfit post this weekend, so stay tuned.

Happy Good Friday!

#MCRFW Blogger Event

Hi Guys,

Today's post is the pics from the Manchester Fashion Week Blogger event  I went to last night. As you know I have been asked to be the part of the official blog team for the big event and last night was the opportunity to meet all the other lovely ladies who will be joining me on the frow!
It was a great night and just me all the more excited for the week itself.
Kirsty Atwood the Head of Manchester Fashion Week, chatting to the lovely Heather from In Your Wardrobe
Me and the gorgeous Martyna  and Lilly
Our "Official" Blogger Cupcakes!

The show schedule was released this week and is amazing, you do not want to miss it. What is great about Manchester Fashion Week for me this year is the variety of the collections. There is High Street brands like Boohoo and Next, Designers and new emerging fashion talent, plus some celeb ranges to checkout!
To see the official line up and ticket information click here
(Tickets are starting from £10, so you can't say no!)

Last night also gave the Manchester Fashion week team the chance to bring us up to speed of lots of other exciting fashion events and launches in the coming months that I will keep you up to date on. Plus we got our second "Blogger Box" that I will be posting on very soon too.

One of the best parts of working on a project like this is getting to meet and work with such lovely fellow bloggers. Sometimes blogging can be a lonely business, super rewarding but sometimes you want to share it with others and that is what I can't wait to do!

Dress- Missguided, Jacket- Miss Rebel, Faux Fur-H&M
Boots- Newlook, Necklace- Newlook, Earrings- Primark

My look for the night was my favourite Missguided midi dress with leather sleeves, and brought a little pop of neon in my necklace. It can be a stress deciding what to wear to a event like this, but I just always try and go for something comfy.

I hope you like the look and I hope you can check out the Manchester Fashion Week site and come and join us!

Do you all have lovely plans for the Easter Weekend? I am heading back up home for the weekend and I can't wait, I like getting back for long weekend when I can, as apart from Christmas, I never really get that long to be home and sometimes you just really need to. Not really sure what the plans are yet, so currently looking at the very untidy bed and suitcase trying to pack! It is always hard when you don't know what you are doing. But I will be posting across the weekend so I will keep you up to date on what I choose to pack in the end!

Happy Thursday!

OPI Euro Centrale Collection

Hi Guys!

As most of you will know by now, I am a bit of a Nail Polish freak, I wear colour everyday, and probs have a few too many polishes sitting in my nail drawer, but when I saw OPI were bringing out a new Euro Centrale collection, I will admit I was straight off to buy it! (Some habits die hard)
This collection of colours was put together exclusively for QVC taking 4 polishes from OPI's new Euro Centrale collection, which is 12 brand new polishes inspired by 4 Central  European Countries Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Romania.
It is a great mix of brights and darks that will be perfect for spring, with a bit of amazing sparkle thrown in for good measure.
This collection contains the 4 colours Polka.com, Suzi's Hungary AGAIN, Can't find my Czech Book and Vant to bite my neck.

Can't find my Czech Book
This is a gorgeous Spring Teal colour , that is not shockingly bright, but still really vivid. It is my favourite colour from the collection. I did think after one coat that it was quite a loud colour, but by the time you apply a second coat the colour deepens to a aquamarine shade. I love it, and have been wearing it non stop on my nails since I got it. If you like colours like Essie's Apple Candy, you will love this.

Suzi's Hungary AGAIN
A perfect bright summery pink, that actually has a real orange tinge to it. This looks great on the nails and would look even better with a tan. It will be my go to bright when the weather gets better and also looks great with all the monochrome at the mo. I know there are a lot of pink polishes on the market, but I would defiantly recommend trying this, and it will be amazing on toes.

Vant to Bite my Neck?
Ok, I know what you are thinking, where is the spring in this colour? Well to be honest there is not, but what this colour is a effortlessly chic and classic, I will be wearing this colour for years. It has a gorgeous gloss to it to which is why it will be great for a posh night night or if you want a really polished manicure. Compared to the other fun colours this is serious and elegant.

Polka.com
This is the really fun polish in the collection, it is full on sparkle in a bottle with purples, pinks and teal sequins. It does need a couple of coats if you are going to wear it as a single colour, but applying it over the other colours is the best way to wear this polish. It is a great nail art colour and the girly side of my just loves looking at the bottle - Ridiculous I know!

All the colours together

I am really happy with these colours, I know I will get a lot of use of them all, they are not just colours that are just for 1 season they are keepers. And I do love the formulation of OPI polishes I find that they are very chip resistant and 2 coats will really last at least 5 days, which for me is a miracle!
If you want to check out the full 12 Euro collection, here you go

I hope you like the colours and I would love to know if you love OPI too? Or if you have tried any of the other Euro colours?

Apologies if I have been awol over the past few days, but I have been taking a mini blogging break, as I have had some things going on my "normal" life. But I am back now and raring to go again. Sometimes I think you just need to take some time out, what do you think?
Anyway, lots of exciting things going on this week, I am going to a Blogger event tomorrow night for Manchester Fashion Week, which I am soo excited about to meet up with all my lovely fellow bloggers! I will be tweeting and instagramming all night so you can check out what we are up to. :-)

Happy Monday!

Pyjama Party!

Hi Guys,

Today's outfit is one of the comfiest I own. My animal print trousers are literally like pyjama's, I could sleep in them! And today was one of those hectic ones where I was doing a lot of running around in and out of meetings, so thought they would be perfect.

Jacket- Boohoo, Trousers- Primark, Blouse- Glamorous
Shoes- Primark, Bag- Primark, Sunglasses ASOS
Necklaces H&M, Ring Accessories*
Nails- Barry M Gelly High Shine in Papaya

I teamed the trousers with my bright blue slouchy jacket that I am loving at the mo, it is the best piece to wear to give an outfit a spring feel. It is just a really easy look for everyday, and unlike every other look it is 100% comfy. Do you ever just want to throw style out the window for comfort? Is this just me?

I am well and truly ready to fully embrace the spring wardrobe, I've got my print jackets, bright jumpers,  white pieces and sunglasses ready to go and now the snow is coming back. Not amused, I am very much a spring summer girl, I don't know why I don't just move abroad to be honest. Every year I live in hope that it will be balmy and sunny from May through to September, but I think it's wishful thinking!!
To get me in the mood I will be up posting my top spring must haves this week, so be sure to look out for that.

Well, I hope you are all having a good week so far? I am going off tonight to try out my new OPI Euro collection, which I am quite sadly really excited about. the colours look fab, so I will defo do a review of them as soon as I can.

Happy Tuesday!

Orange Brights

Jacket- Miss Rebel, Faux Fur- H&M, Trousers- Primark
Top- H&M, Clutch- Miss Selfridges, Necklace- Primark
Hat- H&M, Nails- Gelly High Shine- Lychee and Greenberry
Ring- Vintage (an amazing birthday present)

Hi Guys,

This outfit was my cheer myself up look, as I can't believe how cold it has got again! I was getting very excited last week when the sun was out and I did not have to wear the big coats anymore, but sadly that was  short lived, when it started snowing again.
Sorry, weather rant over. I just love spring trends, and so I did not let the cold stop me today by styling up my fav black cropped trousers with a orange top and orange necklace. Orange and orange a bit much? What do you think?

I think I need to calm down on my trouser fetish this season, I can't get enough, print ones, coloured ones and leather ones but they are just soo perfect for all occasions and H&M and Primark for me have the best picks.

I hope you are all ready for the weekend? I am heading back up to the Lakes and then Scotland to visit my Family and I can't wait, sometimes you just need to get out of the city and head home it is so nice.

I hope you all have a nice things planned? And as you know over the past few days everyone in the blogsphere has gone mad about the Google Reader being shut down, I for one am still completely confused by the whole thing, is this just me?
Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I am on Bloglovin too and so if you would like to follow me here that would be fab. :-)

Happy Friday!

"How I Style"- Monochrome

Hi Guys!

Today's post is something a bit different, this is my first "how I style" post and I am showing 4 different ways I have been loving wearing the monochrome trend this season.

Black and white is everywhere at the moment , so I wanted to share with you how I have been styling the colours for everyday and a glam night out!

Outfit One
Jumper- Topshop, Wetlook Leggings- Missguided, Bag- Primark
Hat- Primark, Shoes- Primark, Beanie- H&M

This look is very casual, and perfect for everyday, shopping, hitting town. I love this Topshop top, it is so comfy and such a great wardrobe staple. It sits really well on the wet look leggings.

Outfit Two
Jacket- Miss Rebel, Dress -Newlook, Boots- Newlook
Clutch- Miss Selfridge, Earrings- Newlook

This look is still casual, but a little bit dressier. So you could wear it going out for drinks or meeting friends. My black leather jacket has been a staple of the monochrome style, as it gives even the simplest outfit like this white dress a bit of an edge. I must mention the earrings (which I know you can not see that well in this pic) as they are amazing. Big, black and white - beautiful!

Outfit 3
Trousers- Primark, Crop Top- Topshop, Jacket- Sample Sale
Heels- Newlook, Clutch Primark, Hat- H&M

Going for something a bit different here, with my new Topshop crop top. This is the first time I am venturing into the crop top territory, and I am probs still undecided, but with a jacket over it it feels ok. I just love the black and white lace pattern, it really reminds me of Erdem's SS13 collection. What do you think of crop tops?

Outfit Four
Dress- Motel Rocks, Jacket- Sample Sale, Bag- Miss Selfridge
Heels- Newlook, Necklace- Topshop

Firstly apologies for the fact there is a lot of leg on show here, it did not seem that bad when I took the photo's! This black dress is one of those perfect will be in the wardrobe forever dresses. I love it and it looks great against the white jacket. This is how I have been dressing up the monochrome style for nights out and I actually wore this dress for my Birthday Party night.

Well, I hope you like my picks and I would love to have your feedback on these types of  "how I style post" as if you like it I would love to do more. I did have a video to go with this post, but the lighting was all wrong with it and I could not edit it right and to be honest had some sort of breakdown with it so just left it in the end. :-( But will re film asap.

Hope you are having a good week and are not as cold as we have been up here in Manchester, it has gone Baltic again!

Happy Thursday!

Finishing Line Flag!

                          Coat- Newlook (old), Top- Missguided
Skirt- Stradivarius, Ring- Vintage
Boots- Newlook, Necklace-H&M, Bag- Primark, Sunglasses- ASOS
Nails- Barry M High Shine- Lychee and Greenberry

Hi Guys!

Today's look is completely inspired by very specific things. Normally, I will put a look together based on how I am feeling and pick a general theme, but today I styled this outfit purely based on 2 things. Also please ignore the "fashiony" way I am wearing my coat over my shoulders- you have to let me away with it sometimes!!
First, is my 2 favourite nail polishes of the moment, the Barry M High Shine Greenberry and Lychee. They are the perfect colours for spring and last night when I painted my nails I was just looking at them thinking I really want to wear a bright green colour tomorrow to match. So I was straight into my wardrobe looking for one of my hero's of last summer, my apple green Stradivarius skirt. ( If you have never been on their site you need too here) It is a great match to the nails and is such a nice pop of colour.
What do you think- too much?

The second inspiration for today was Louis Vuitton's  SS13 collection. I literally loved all the black, white sixties checks and patterns that filled the catwalk show, and so felt my new Missguided chequered flag top would be a fitting tribute. I also loved the mix of it with the green skirt.

I very rarely get ready this way, as it would be too restrictive everyday, but I have really liked the overall effect.
Do you every design a look around one piece or item?

Well, it has been a really busy week so far, I feel super tired and it's only Tuesday! Hope you are having a good week?

And I just wanted to say a massive thank you to the lovely people who have nominated my blog in the Company Magazine Style Bloggers Awards, I am so touched and humbled. It means so much to me to get your comments and feedback, so to hear about that was so lovely, so THANK YOU! xxx

Hope you like the look and will be back with a new style video tomorrow.

Happy Tuesday!
