Winter Greens!

Jumper- Primark, Skirt- Missguided, Bag- Primark,
Scarf- Topman (it's a boys)
Boots- Newlook, Necklace- Primark, Ring- Bought in Portugal
Earrings- Barry M Gelly Nail Polish- Plum

Hi Guys!

This is just a quick outfit post from today. It was not till I was writing out where it was all from just a second ago that I realised how much of it was from Primark! Oh well, I do love the place.

I love wearing green, it is a colour that suits my hair colour and skin tone (which is very pale at the mo by my standards will be fake tanning this week before my Christmas party!)
But one way that like to wear colour is to mix tones of it in the same look, which is why I have put together this fab khaki green studded jumper with my Topman scarf. I think it empathises the colour more when you layer it up, what do you think?

But the star of this outfit is my Missguided skirt, which you can find here it was one of those things I ordered on a night when I was doing a bit of on line shopping cos it was such a bargain and I really didn't have realise how much I would rely on it all winter. It is soo comfy, which most Missguided clothes are and you can wear it with so many different styles, I would definitely recommend it.

I hope you had a good Monday? It is a final week of work before the Christmas holidays and I still have lots to do.
I am starting my prep for my big work Christmas party tomorrow, self tanning, eyebrow threading etc and I am going to record a video of my top fashion items of 2012, so be sure to stay tuned!

Happy Monday!

Christmas Wish List!

Hi Guys!

I hope you are all having a good weekend? Mine has been spent buying and wrapping Christmas presents for all my family which I love. It is such a good feeling to see peoples faces when then open a gift they really wanted or if it is total surprise!
However as I spend such a large amount of my time either in the shops or online looking at fashion and beauty products, it is hard not to get distracted with things you love too. Perks/downfalls of being a blogger! And I have seen a few things I would love Santa to get me ( if I was lucky!)

Check out my dream Christmas Wish list - Please note as some of these items are hundreds of pounds I would like to qualify it is a dream wish list not an actual one!

1)Lips Clutch Bag- Lulu Guinness- £475

2) Le Teint Touche Eclat Foundation- YSL- £28

3) Skull Print Jumper -River Island - £35

4) Sliver Pleated Skirt Topshop - £90

6) Floral Corset Topshop -£30

7) Patent London Leather Tote Burberry- £895

I always like a mix of fashion and beauty products as presents and  love trying them out as soon as I can! (So normally boxing day is a real pamper/trying on session) And I always like to ask for things I don't need, as I buy what I need throughout the year so my Christmas list is always extra's that I would just love to have and try!
I hope you like my picks and I would love to know what you are hoping for under the tree next week!

Well, I have a busy week ahead, buying my final pressies and getting ready for my big Christmas Do, which I will do a full outfit post on, plus my first Manchester Fashion Week Post will be published, so look out for that!

Christmas Party Series Post 3 - My Party Beauty Essentials!

Hi Guys!

This is part 3 of my Christmas Party series and today is all about my top beauty essentials for the big night!

It is very important when putting your outfit together that you consider your make up as much as the dress itself and after a lot of deliberation and testing, I have picked my beauty winners!

Lips
Topshop- Inhibition, Soap and Glory Great Kisser Lip Balm (Peach)

All this season I have been loving the deep plum lip trend, it is so perfect and dramatic for a big party or event. There are loads of great versions on the market at the moment, but my favourite is this Topshop one Inhibition, it has no red tone to it at all, it is a true purple/plum and stays put nearly all night, (only the odd reapplication needed) and it looks so good against the velvets, sequins and leathers of this winter.
And I need gloss, I am not a fan of total Matte lipstick, I don't like the way it sits on my face, so I always apply a bit of shine. I love Soap and Glory's Great Kisser lip balm, it is not a typical gloss on a stick it is an actual balm, so keeps your lips nice and moisturised but has the most amazing super gloss finish which you don't except, which looks fab over the deep lip.

Face and Eyes
NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil- Knight, Benefit Porefessinal Primer

If you are not dancing the night away at your Christmas party, your not having a good time! So primer is a must to keep your face in place all night and not have any make up disasters of slipping foundation! I have talked about Porefessinal before it is my everyday primer and I love the fact that it is not heavy, blends really well and keeps everything where it needs to be all day.
My most recent beauty purchase out of my picks is my NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in the colour Knight. It is a gorgeous charcoal colour that is perfect for creating a classic smoky eye. It blends so well and you can really build up the intensity of the colour at the crease, or it is really nice as a solid liner under the lower lash line, which is how I will wear it for my party look.
If you have not tried NYX jumbo pencils before I would recommend them, the colour Milk is the perfect highlight colour for under the eyebrows!

Nails
Essie- Bordeaux

This is my favourite nail colour of the whole season. It is the nicest rich burgundy that has a really high shine finish and makes the nails look really elegant. And like all other Essie polishes it doesn't chip after two coats.
There is no sparkle in it, but I am letting the dress do the sparkling so that's fine!

Perfume
Chanel No 5

For a big event I like a really strong and heavy sent and for me the ultimate version of this is Chanel No 5. It's iconic notes really make me feel glam and ready to party!

Earrings
Topshop

Ok, it's not a beauty item but I am a lover of big earrings. For me they finish every look off and for me the bigger the better. For this party season the jewelry trend to look out for is full on glam and these Topshop lovelies give just the right amount of glitz , while not taking over the look and distracting from the dress, hair or make up.

Well, I hope you like my picks and you are all ready for your Christmas Party's! I would love to hear what make up you will be rocking and why.

I hope you are all having a good week and are well under way with the present buying? I can't believe it is under 2 weeks till Christmas day, it is all very exciting! I have got more Christmas nights out this week and heading to a blogger event for Manchester Fashion week on Saturday which I am really looking forward too, and there will be full post on it very soon. And, I will be posting my ultimate Christmas wish list this week too so be sure to stay tuned for that.

Happy Wednesday!

Sequin Time!

Skirt-Missguided, Top- Newlook, Jacket- Miss Rebel
Bag- Primark, Earrings- Topshop, Shoes- Newlook
Nails- Essie Bordeaux

Hi Guys!

These are just a few pics from last night. I was out for my friend Steve's birthday and so as we are in full christmasy fever it felt the perfect time to bring out my sequin skirt!

I love this skirt, I actually got it from Missguided last winter, but they still have a really similar version on the website here
The skirt is really comfy, but it does have a slight habit of riding up throughout the night, so I always try and wear none sheer tights to help with the grip!
Sequins are so good for a really glam night out like last night and also just as fab with a winter jumper or t shirt for a more casual look. Have you been loving this look too?

Apologies for the quality of these photo's I have a new camera and I am still fiddling around with the settings etc so I am sorry it looks a bit grainy, I will get it right!

Well, I hope you have all had a nice weekend? It feels like it has gone really quickly for me! But I am heading to the Christmas Markets this afternoon to see one of my best friends so really looking forward to that, and then it will be home to watch Elf later (one of my all time fav Christmas Films!)

Lots of Christmas party posts coming this week, so stay tuned!

Happy Sunday!

DaisyStreet's Christmas Party!

Hi Guys!

Hope you have had a good weekend? I have had a lovely time, it was my friends 30th birthday, so was spent with some of my fav people which is always great!

Here are the pictures from the DaisyStreet bloggers event last Thursday. As you know if you follow me on Twitter and Instagram I had a fab time, the clothes were gorgeous and perfect for this party season.
I was really impressed with the selection of clothes on display, the shoes and bags were full on glamour, with stud details and sparkle. But my favourite pieces were the skirts, and jackets which were cut really well and were bang on trend. Which I think is a really good way to describe this brand, it is trend aware and current, with a great price tag.
If you have not checked them out before, then click here for some fashion lovelies.

Photo time!
     A Rainbow of Disco Pants
Sequins Anyone?
I had a great time and the Daisy Street Girls were perfect hosts, feeding us with yummy food, fizz and Daisy Cupcakes! And like always the best thing about these events is getting to meet fellow bloggers, which I love to to. I had a god chin wag over sequin leggings with the lovely ladies from A Trend I made Earlier and Lurch Hound Loves it's amazing the conversations you can strike up over material! :-)

Here are a few more pics of my look for the night!
