OPI James Bond Collection! - Review

Hi Guys!
Right, I know it would appear that I have gone slightly Bond crazy of late, but I really am a big fan! So a couple of weeks ago when I saw that OPI were bringing out a 50 year Bond Collection for the release of Skyfall, I knew I had to have it.
I love the colours, not only are they perfect for this Autumn/Winter, but they are named after different Bond films- genius!

Golden Eye, The Spy Who Loved Me, The World is not Enough,
Live and Let Die
Golden Eye
This is a gorgeous full on gold, not one that needs lots of coats to get a shine, it is going to be the colour for the party season!

           The Spy Who Loved Me
I really don't think the camera really shows how bright and sparkly this red is. It is very vibrant and not matte at all, stunning.

The World is not Enough
This colour is is quite similar to My Private Jet, another OPI colour that I love, it is a dark inky brown (if that is a colour) with little sparkly bits.

             Live and Let Day
I think this is my favourite out of the collection, it is so hard to get across the colour it is a gorgeous teal green  with metallic flecks running through it.Ironically it is also my fav Bond film, so I think it was a sign!

I hope you like the colours, which one is your favourite?

This is a great collection and all of the colours are really wearable, but very dramatic and glossy, so if you are after a muted nail colour, then this collection is not for you, but if you love bright nails and OPI like me, you will love it!
And there are more James Bond colours to try, in the full size, Skyfall, Living Daylights etc, so be sure to check them out!

Well, I promise I will get back to normal non Bond related posts in the next couple of days, (promise) I have some new season outfit posts to show you and hopefully some more news on a new project I have been working on!

Happy Tuesday!

Skyfalling

Shirt- Primark, Boob Tube- H&M, Wetlook Leggings- Boohoo
Boots- Newlook, Watch- Daniel Wellington, Ring- Topshop, Necklace- Primark

Hi Guys!

These are the pics from last night viewing of Skyfall! I am a self confessed massive Bond Geek, I have loved it since I was a girl, so whenever a new one comes out I always go and see it on the opening night!
The film is amazing, one of the best, for me no film will ever be as good as Casino Royale, but this was very very good. If you have not seen it yet, get down the cinema fast, and if you are not a Bond fan then Daniel Craig should be reason enough!

I decided to wear my new necklace from Primark as the center peice of the outfit. I am loving really bold statement necklaces this season, they can take any look from day to night, and I felt with Bond, I had to make an effort!
So, I wanted to keep the rest of the look very simple, with my sheer white shirt and black wet look leggings, which worked really well. It is strange how one day I am covered in print and pattern and the next day I want to be completely different, the joys of fashion!

After the film, we went for cocktails (Vokda Martini) of  course , and a yummy dinner, so some of the pics are a few glasses of fizz in!

I hope you are having a great weekend? I having been spending some time with my Mum and Dad, which has been great, and working on some new stuff for the blog, which I will hopefully be able to share with you next week.

Happy Weekend!

Little Black Dress Blogger Event!

Hi Guys!

Here are the pictures from the Little Black Dress Event we went to last week. It was a great night and we got the chance to see the new Party wear collection, that is being launched on the website, and meet the lovely Team LBD guys, so cocktails and dresses equal a very happy Logan Sisters!

Me and Katie, going through the rails, picking our favs

And here are some of the beauties that went straight on our wish list!
A stunning Gorgeous Couture Maxi Dress
                                         Electric Blue Peplum!
Amazing L.2 Mae Leather Harlow Dress!

And the signature dress from Little Black Dress, the first from their own label!

Katie's dress of the night, a leather and sheer maxi!

And it's not just dresses, check out the Shoes! ( Pretty Shoes!)

I was genuinely loving the selection of dresses on show at this event, there was such a great mix of all out glam and then some really structured and tailored pieces that are perfect for any xmas party! When you go and actually see pieces upfront, they are not always what they seem, the fabric or design might not be right, but these did not disappoint.
I think my personal fav of the night was the stunning white leather L.2 Mae Harlow dress, it was really different and effortless. However both Katie and I were finding it hard to choose!

Little Black Dress has a great selection of dresses for all occasions and from a really wide mix of brands like,
Reiss, Jasper Garvida, The Pretty Dress Company, Bodyfrock and Aftershock to name a few, all your dress needs in one place! If you have not had a chance to check them out yet, you need to. I think that is it is really important for us girls to have the choice of wear we shop, and that is why I like finding new places that will not always offer what the High Street has.

As well as all the dresses and shoes, there was a glam squad giving make overs, which I had to sample and to top the night off we could pick a dress from the gorgeous rails and have a photo shoot! (Perfect fashion blogger fun!!)

Me and Katie picked me out the amazing electric blue peplum dress from Bourne, I loved how vibrant it was, but still creating a great shape.

So to finish off here are the some pics from my dress up!

Sorry if this is a the really long post, I hope you like the pics  and the dresses. I would love to know what styles of dresses you are planning for this party season, I will be doing a full post on the big decision it very soon!

I hope you all having a nice week and like me are looking forward to the new James Bond film coming out on Friday!? I am a massive Bond geek, so I am already for a screening and cocktails!

Happy Tuesday!

The Observer Food Monthly's "Best Sunday Roast"!
The Parlour- Chorlton

Hi Guys!

Hope you have all had a nice weekend?
These are some pics from this afternoon, it was such a gorgeous Autumn Day we had to go out for a nice long walk and finish it off with a yummy Sunday Roast.

I love days like today, you don't have to worry about keeping dry or putting waterproofs on, you can just wrap up and go. I always go for a big snug cardigan and snood and then just layer pieces underneath. It was also the perfect opportunity to try my new Missguided disco pants, and I love them. They are a great colour and really hold their shape, you almost feel like they are sucking you in which is fab! I do have other versions of these, such as the American Apparel ones, but for the price these Missguided are a really good dupe.
But the real hero is today's look is my beautiful Daniel Wellington Watch, that I was kindly sent and I absolutely love it. It is classic, timeless and I can wear it with everything. If you have not ever seen any other Daniel Wellington products, I would recommend checking them out. They are quite preppy in their designs, but the quality and feel is excellent. It will be a staple now of my Autumn/Winter wardrobe. What do you think?

As, I said we went for a Roast dinner, but not just any old one, we went to The Parlour a pub/bar on Beech Road in Chorlton (our new suburb)and it was delicious! It has recently been voted the best Sunday Roast in the country by the Observer Food Monthly and they were not wrong! I was completely stuffed when with yummy food when we left, and we will defo be back.

I am now curled up on the sofa watching the Football with some Green and Blacks dark chocolate in my hand, getting ready for a lazy Sunday night.

I went to a fab blogger event on Thursday night hosted The Little Black Dress, it was great and I will be writing a full post with pics which you don't want to miss, but for now, I am going back to my choc!

Happy Sunday!

High Street Hot list!

Hi Guys!

Apologies for no posts in the past few days, I have been putting some time into putting the finishing touches to my new clothes and accessory storage, I am really pleased with it so far and will do a full post on it all when it is all done.
However, going through all my clothes and packing away my summer wardrobe for another year has got me the mood of some new season retail therapy! I find it really cathartic reorganising my clothes at the change of season, you can really start to plan the new pieces you need and work it out how you can wear them with your current favs.

With that in mind, I have gone through the High Street and picked out my wish list for my Autumn Winter looks!

Dress- Mango £59.99, Top- Miss Selfridge £ 39,Dress- Topshop £49
 Coat-Topshop £89, Necklace- River Island £12
Earrings- New Look £9.99 Boots-New Look £27
Headband- Miss Selfridge £16

What are your top must have items for this season? I am loving metallic's and the military styles and worn together they give a real edge.
This Topshop coat is amazing and may just be my winter coat of choice, although I think I will have to do a whole post on that decision (as it is pretty big!)
I hope you like my picks, and are enjoying planning your winter wardrobe!

Well, we are into the middle of the week and am busy busy!Hope you are having a good week? I am going to a Little Black Dress event on Thursday, really looking forward to that, it is always great to meet fellow bloggers and check out some fab new frocks! So stay tuned for the pics from the night.

Happy Tuesday and Happy Winter Shopping!

Casual Autumn Styling!

Jacket- Huk (A Independant shop in Manchester)
 Demin Dress- Forever 21
Wet Look Leggings- Boo Hoo, Boots- Viva La Diva
            Handbag- Primark, Necklace- Primark

Hi Guys!

Can you believe it is Friday tomorrow, where are the weeks going? It has been a busy week, but even still I just don't know what happens to the time.
These are some pics from my trip to London last week, I really am enjoying styling casual Autumn looks at the moment. I know it is great to get glammed up and go dressy, but often day to day fashion can be just as nice.
As you will have seen, my leather sleeved mac is becoming a stable of my wardrobe, and I love it with this big tribal necklace. They clash in their styles, but I think that works with the denim dress acting as a middle man of the outfit, what do you think?
For more really good affordable new season trends, I would recommend having a look on the Missguided and Glamorous websites. I was scrolling through them the other day and there was some great skirts, jumpers and casual pieces that will update your style without breaking the bank, so check them out!

I hope you all have nice weekend planned? I am having a nice quiet weekend, going out for some drinks with the girls from work tomorrow (wine o'clock) and then having a chilled out time, although I do still have Ikea bookcases and drawers to put up since the move, so will probs have to look at that.
I will be doing a post on all my new accessories and make up storage set up really soon, so be sure to stay tuned for that!
Anyway off to do some work on a up and coming project that I am looking forward to share with you soon!

Happy (early) Friday!
